Out of Ashes | Aspens emerge from an ancient lava flow several miles wide near Cedar Breaks outside of Brian Head Utah. Photographed at sunrise during as fall colors hit their peak in early October, the sun shines through the brilliant autumn canopy telling a story of warmth and light despite frigid conditions at high elevation.
