For thousands of years, wine has represented one of the great harmonies between nature and mankind. From the first miracle in the Gospel of John, to the vibrant vineyards perfected by science flourishing around the world today, wine continues to echo its rich history and cultural significance serving not only as a companion to meals, but also as a symbol of celebration and connection. The Sonoma Collection represents places that transcend time, reminding us of our shared experiences and the beauty of life's simplest pleasures.
As a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and a perpetual student in the world of wine, in July of 2024 Bobby spent the month exploring and documenting the north coast wine country. From sweeping vinescapes to the coastal influences that shape them, from micro details of grapes to the methods by which they become wine, Bobby’s Sonoma Collection offers an in-depth look at one of the world’s most iconic wine regions.
Using both his traditional FILM approach as well as utilizing drone technology for the first time in his career, the portfolio offers a variety of perspectives for the traditionalists as well as the modern art lovers.

SALT AIR
Sonoma Coast, California
NEW RELEASE | Edition of 21
The frigid temperature of the northern Pacific Ocean is perhaps the most influential factor affecting the wine regions of Northern California. From Napa to Sonoma and north to Mendocino and Lake Counties, the cold air off of the Pacific is pulled inland through a series of gaps in the coastal range each night acting as a moderator and counter balance to the hot daytime temperatures, thus preserving the acidity of the grapes and leading to wines of beautiful balance.
