Sheet Music
Edition of 11
Bobby’s Recommended Presentation | Gallery Modern (Thin 3/8”W Black Frame) Presentation (As Shown in Installation Images) or Our Museum Mount (Floating) Presentation both suit this image to perfection.
Brilliantly titled by one of our good friends and Patrons, Dave Politzer, Sheet Music tells the story of the Tiger Stripe Wall, one of the most striking climbing walls in Red Rock Canyon. This is one of the first pieces released as part of a more abstract project depicting the textures and patterns found while rock climbing the iconic sandstone found just outside the city of Las Vegas.
And climbing - while considered by many to be an extreme sport that borders insanity - is an art form much like that of a symphony in any great opera house. In its highest form, body and mind work harmoniously together reading and recognizing even the most minute features in the rock, adjusting balance and positioning to maximize efficiency, eventually reaching a flow state where fear disappears, and a symphony of movement carries the artist to heights that at one time were beyond comprehension.
