The first snow fell beautifully as if to place a pristine seal on nearly four years that Haley and I had the privilege of calling this wonderland home. Jackson Hole has a haunting effect on those who are fortunate enough to venture here. There is an inexplicable emotional gravity; a draw to its untamed beauty, and once in its grip, to try and break free is painstakingly difficult. I stood on the shores of Jenny Lake before a scene that seemed to silently proclaim how man need not see God in his entirety to marvel at his existence. The heavens declare his glory; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. The first light touched the granite peaks and for the first time left me with a bittersweet and broken-hearted feeling as this would be the last time as a resident of Jackson, Wyoming that I would point a camera at the Teton Range.
